Our membership is 100% volunteer.
The West Haven Vietnam Veterans meet the 1st Friday of every month at 1:00pm on the lower level of 355 Main Street, West Haven, CT. 06516. Our membership consists of veterans and non-veterans, male/female, young, old and older. All are welcome.
Discussion input is encouraged from all members, however, only veteran members are allowed to formally vote.
Our meetings are informal however we do follow protocols. Meetings are approximately 1-2 hrs in length.
100% attendance is not required due to personal constraints.
The West Haven Vietnam Veterans and the Veterans Council organization have been active within the West Haven community for a number of decades, hosting, sponsoring, supporting or attending events and causes. Many of our current and past members / officers have been active and inactive for various periods, for both personal and veteran health related reasons. The one constant throughout the decades is, when the mission requires, everyone shows up. This is a precious and productive “Good Feeling To Know”.
