Wednesday, November 16th, the West Haven Vietnam Veterans were honored to facilitate on behalf of Bozzuto’s Hometown Foundation HungerLESS Holidays Program the delivery and distribution of approximately 40 cases of frozen food goods ranging from mac & cheese trays, burgers, chicken tenders, pulled pork and sausage patties, hash browns, mashed potatoes, fries, vegetables and ice cream to the senior resident community at Morrissey Manor in West Haven.
Morrissey Manor Resident Council Board President Ja’e and board members extended a gracious thank you on behalf of all of the senior residents at the complex to Jamie Hughes, Relationship Manager, Derek Arena, Manager of Retail Systems & Ecommerce and all of the supporting employees involved in Bozzuto’s Hometown Foundation HungerLESS Holidays Program.
West Haven Vietnam Veteran President Dave Ricci observed ” It takes an immense number of superior performing links in a chain to make a program of this magnitude run so smoothly. That’s a real A-Team”.
Ja’e and “the resident cooks” are busy planning out the menu for a series of community gathering meals to be enjoyed by all residents over the holiday period.
