Monday, November 21st, the West Haven Vietnam Veterans were honored to facilitate on behalf of Bozzuto’s Hometown Foundation HungerLESS Holidays Program the delivery and distribution of 100 frozen turkeys and fixings to veterans and their families at the Errera VA Clinic in West Haven.
In collabration with Wayne Hammond, Vertical Serve Team Leader, of the Vertical Church, pick up and distribution was flawless. West Haven Vietnam Veteran President Dave Ricci commented ” this particular effort is special to us as these recipients are brothers and sisters to us as veterans.”

Wayne Hammond, Vertical Serve Team Leader commented, “We are a outreach team from Vertical Church and we serve our Veterans every Saturday hosting bingo with the vet’s, hosting cookouts in collaboration with I Heart New Haven, escorting veterans to their appointments by wheel chairs, and decorating the VA Hospital front lobby and the FISCHER HOUSE for Christmas. In partnership with the West Haven Vietnam Veterans we were able to deliver 100 turkey’s with baskets for our veterans and their families this year and look forward to so much more, …
